When Shotwork opens a video it reads its exact frame rate, frame size, length in frames and embedded start timecode. It does not count frames by decoding the file, so opening a long film is quick.
If a video's frame rate varies, Shotwork warns you when it opens. Frame numbers in such a file may not land on the same pictures in every player, so frame-accurate marking is not guaranteed there. Convert the file to a constant frame rate before marking it.
Audio¶
Songs for a reel: .mp3, .wav, .flac, .m4a, .aac, .ogg and .opus.
All files is offered too.
Images¶
Image cards, logos and image items in an overlay template: .png, .jpg,
.jpeg, .bmp and .webp. Use a .png with a transparent background for a
logo that sits over footage.
Vector .svg files are not accepted, because exporting a reel composites
pixel images.
